Wooden church in the village of Schitul Maici, built in 1762, with founders named on the wall between the narthex and the nave, and doors ornamented with rosettes and crosses.
Apparent beam-built church, its dedication day „Transfiguration”, in Schitul Maici village, commune Cristesti, built in 1762. On the separating wall between the narthex and the nave the names of the founders are mentioned: „This church was founded by Iordache Esacescu Postelnicu, him and his mother Safta, in the days of grigore Voievod 1759 – Master Toader, God's servant be remembered”. The entrance door and the wall between the narthex and the nave have decorated sculpures (rosettes and crosses).
